Alison Wright is an English actor from the UK. She received an Emmy Award in the year 2017 for her role as Martha Hanson, the star of FX's period spy series The Americans. The actress also appeared in The Ryan Murphy limited series Feud: Bette & Joan and Hollywood. Wright, who was adoptive by her parents was born in Sunderland in 1976.
